Rosie has been involved in three shows with Theatre Group and is an ex-member of Theatre Group committee.
Rosie has been directing since the age of 15 when she directed 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. Since she has directed shows such as 'A Merchant of Venice' and 'Carrie's War'. Assisted on musicals such as 'Les Miserables', 'Titanic: The Musical', 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' and 'Rent', and on plays such as 'Norfolk's Rose', 'Pride and Prejudice' and 'Henry V', In the coming year she is directing 'The Dreaming' (Wilde Theatre, July 2010), 'Pride and Prejudice' (Kingston International Youth Festival, July 2010), ‘Salute’ (an original piece produced conjunction with the charity War Child - to be performed at South Hill Park Arts Centre, Colchester Arts Centre, Kingston Festival and finally Edinburgh 2010) and assisting in a production of 'Moulin Rouge' (Wilde Theatre, July 2010). In addition to theatre work, Rosie is also the co-director of a new film production company called BritFlik, who is filming their first feature film this December. Also, as a founding member of the 'Missed-Out' Youth Board of South Hill Park she has had the opportunity to organise educational events to encourage primary school aged children into the arts, as well as directed, produced, and production managed numerous variety shows to showcase talent from the local community. And finally, she is a permanent fixture at The Royal Berkshire Academy of Performing Arts where she teaches and directs young people aged 12-18.
